Upgrading my laptops operating system….

Please please please don’t destroy my files.

I use DropBox to back up my most important files in case my computer breaks them somehow.

I have too many “most important files”, it would take days to upload them.  I’m going to get an external hard drive soon and use that to back up my computer regularly.  But everything seems to be intact, now that it’s installed.  It’s just that several programs don’t work (which was expected) so I’m busy installing new versions and tweaking things and stuff.
