So is this a problem?

I was scratching my butt.  I thought I was scratching the place where my skin became irritated by the tape on my dressing.  But it turned out I was scratching my incision.  Which is very well healed by now, according to the nurses who saw it.

And a very small, thin film of clear stuff came off, with a small dark brown scab-looking thing.  Like half a centimeter square of clear stuff and a teeny tiny bit of scab.  And now the incision hurts.  I didn’t just open up all the surgical glue did I?  That had to be just a superficial thing I scraped off, right?  Because if it was more than superficial, the incision wouldn’t have stood up to all the abuse that moving around on my butt for a  couple weeks has caused?

…right?

  1. queervegancunt answered: Yeah, probably nothing to worry about. Maybe just cover it with antibotic and a bandage. :)
  2. clatterbane answered: That sounds like just a scabby thing maybe? But if it’s pretty well healed by now, probably nothing to worry about. Sorry it hurts though :(
