I would rather be approached by someone who used a word that had hurt me worse than any other word in the world had ever hurt me, but who meant something different.
Than by someone who used a word that had never hurt me or anyone else at all, but who meant to dehumanize me utterly.
And that means something.
Sometimes I think that means everything.
