Was really hard to write this, but, I think, worth it.
Everything that roots us to the world.
Everything that makes us who we are.
Everything that connects us to everything.
These things will always place us outside of every ideology.
No matter who is involved with the ideology, or why.
And that’s incredibly important.
Because those are the things that create life and make us real.
And that’s why ideologies always fail, because however hard we try people can’t fit inside them.
The only way to fit inside of an ideology is to pretend that you don’t exist, pretend that you’re not real, pretend that you’re someone else.
Which in the long run always proves impossible.
And you can beat yourself up for that.
Or you can recognize that you’ve been set up for an impossible task, and step aside, and do something else.
Not fitting with ideologies always causes conflicts.
But sometimes they’re worth it.
Because there’s this thick tie between you and reality
And that’s where everything important is.
(About you . About everyone. About what’s real.)
So. Really. It’s worth it.
It makes a difference.
A real difference.
For real people.
