In the future I should probably just note that all of Tumblr is a “don’t bother to express disagreement” zone unless otherwise noted.  I kind of don’t get what the point of Tumblr as a platform is when that’s the case, but okay.

I could tolerate this better if it weren’t for the smug sense of moral superiority which is endemic.  I just wish some of the rules were better spelled-out for social incompetents like myself.

I mean, last week I had someone sending me asks to “go away.”  When they were the first person to contact me!  (I did reblog something from this person, but it’s not as though I was initiating contact and demanding that they respond to me.)  Where I was supposed to go, I don’t know.  Off of Tumblr entirely, perhaps?

Yeah and there’s a weird thing like “I’m always right as long as I’m the right sort of person, and say the right sort of things, but be the wrong sort of person or say the wrong sort of things and you’re automatically wrong, no questions asked.”  Especially when “the wrong sorts of things” aren’t horrible horrible things, they’re just different.
