A Slytherin cat is not an “evil ” or malicious cat. A Slytherin cat can be powerfully and ruthlessly good, without necessarily being “nice”. A Slytherin cat will always let you know where you stand, and will remind you every day that “human” does not mean “superior species”. A Slytherin cat sees through all lies and pretense. She feels entitled to respect and will enforce her will as the need arises. A Slytherin cat may be quick to anger, but she finds it impractical to dwell once her interlocutor has learned their lesson.
Above all, a Slytherin cat knows exactly who she is, and will see plainly who you are. She is the Magic Mirror gate of cats, and while she may deceive you with her cunning at times, she more than likely has a damn good reason for doing so.
(Pictured is Nikki, my resident Slytherin cat. She is 12 years old and amazing.)
Yes to all of that. Nikki is very amazing and very Slytherin. Interestingly, she’s very similar to Fey, who seems to be Gryffindor instead. There’s some difference between them that makes that difference, but there’s a similarity that draws the two together. But Nikki is 100% Slytherin and 100% awesome.
And wow, that LOOK she’s giving you.
Indeed, I totally think of Fey as being quite similar to Nikki, but somehow more Gryffindor-leaning. I am not sure what that is. But it’s definitely a thing. Maybe it’s that Nikki has more of the “air of aristocracy”, or something. Whereas Fey has more of that Molly Weasley Badass thing going on.
Yeah I think you’re right. Also I think Fey does have some Slytherin tendencies, just not enough to put her there.
