I’m not saying “be nicer to your oppressors”, I’m not saying “stop fighting”, I’m saying “make sure the fight isn’t the only thing you have”.

And I’m saying that as someone who is fighting an absolutely desperate battle

being destroyed by this *is* a major spiritual danger we face as people who have to fight, as people who have to fight we can lose everything turning our whole selves into weapons

and it’s *becase* of how intense the pressure is from everyone, BECAUSE of how desperately important the fight is, that we have to keep this in mind
