i’m thinking about asking for donations to help pay for my antibiotics. 
for those of you who don’t know, i have a very serious infection in my entire digestive tract. it is (along with vomiting) causing several ulcers in my stomach lining and my esophagus. it’s also been spreading through my blood stream since June, and has caused problems with my liver and kidney function. i FINALLY got this diagnosis on monday, but insurance won’t cover the antibiotics or other medications i need, and we simply can’t afford them right now. the longer it goes on without the meds, the worse i will get. at this point already the specialist told me that i should be dead, that i shouldn’t be able to survive, let alone (semi) function with this huge of an infection. also, i desperately need a surgery for my gastroparesis, but can’t have it until the infection is more under control. and even then, it doesn’t look likely that insurance will help with that, either. i could go to the hospital, but insurance still wouldn’t cover the meds and then i’d have the hospital stay to pay for as well. i’m not well enough to be able to trade any art or anything for donations, so i’m hesitant to ask.
