they thought I didn’t know how to lie but i really just didn’t know how to say things I knew people didn’t want to hear and I was good at detecting that
what happens to me all of the time, both out loud and in text…
I had something similar that was the basis for all of my communication. Or most of it. For a long long long time. To the point it felt to me as if I could barely communicate at all. It wasn’t quite like this, but enough like it I recognize this as familiar.
