@Youneedacat: I hope you’ll be okay. How do you feel?
I don’t feel too bad. I mean my lungs don’t feel good, but they don’t feel too awful, either, compared to some other times. The test will be the next few days of course. You can’t always tell much on the first day, other than that if it’s terrible on the first day and signs of pneumonia are already showing up on the x rays, then things are really really bad. I’m uncomfortable, but I’ve been much worse. But aspiration pneumonia and pneumonia related to stomach bacteria and stuff can take awhile to develop, that’s why with me, given bronchiectasis, they throw antibiotics at me instantly and then hope it stops it getting too bad.
