This is the only comb that has ever worked for me.  Someone got it for me almost by accident, and it’s wonderful.  It’s wooden, and wide toothed, and that’s perfect.
I still have to go over my hair over and over again with my fingers before I can even begin to comb it without the comb just sticking in one place.  but once I can get through it, this is the comb I want.
I’d suggest it for anyone with really thick hair or hair that’s wavy with some curls in it here and there.  This works for me where brushes don’t and regular combs (or even normal “wide tooth” combs that aren’t as wide as this) don’t.  If this doesn’t work there are a few combs that are even wider than this, but this is pretty wide.  As I said, I still have to go over the tangles with my fingers over and over before I can begin to put this in my hair, but once I do, it’s great.

This is legit. I have the smaller version of this comb from the Body Shop in my stim kit and its the best thing in this universe. My hair is naturally very thick and impossible to get through so when I had long hair, this comb was a must for some of the worst tangles. Also it was great for stimming with since one of my main stims is pulling at my hair and pressing my fingers into my scalp. I just have to share and tout the wonders of the wide toothed wooden comb.

I’ve been using a narrower “wide” toothed wooden comb, but I will definitely have to look for one like this. Most of the ones I’ve seen with tooth spacing like that have been plastic, and even the decent quality like Denman are harder on my hair

Oh it looks like this may be something called “simulated wood”.  However, it’s still really really nice and seems to have a lot of the qualities of real wood.  It doesn’t feel like most wide-tooth plastic combs do.
