social justice space can be seriously hostile to autistic people
Because there are all these rules.
And they’re very different from mainstream culture.
And no one will ever explain them.
And people will all scream at you for being a terrible person for violating them.
This is a problem.
Even when the rules are really important.
Yeah. Although I notice some autistic people seem really really good at figuring out and following and enforcing those rules, and others have a lot of trouble with it. (And some vary depending on a lot of factors.)
I’m sometimes good at it but usually bad at it, and getting worse at it all the time.
