Wait, plain flannel indicates lesbian?
I mean I guess I wear it only 50% of the time so maybe that’s legit.
But I have so many questions for my grandfather now…

See, I thought it just indicated “Canadian.”

I love plaid flannel! Not Canadian, but when I wore it in elementary school I usually got taunted for “trying to be a lumberjack”. WTF.

I once wore plaid flannel and jeans and a warm hat like my family normally wears in the winter, to school (for a project where I was supposed to represent a major trait or industry in a state I did a report on – I was doing fishing) and was asked by the other kids, “So, are you supposed to be a junkie or a bum?”

Ahh, class differences.
