I killed my laptop.

And I’ve had to swallow my pride and ask some people I know to help me either repair it or buy a new one. Which feels horrible given that I killed it by doing something truly stupid.

I was lucky even worse didn’t happen. Like electrocution. But all I did was start a tiny electrical fire. Ugh. At least I’m over the initial panic now, but it doesn’t feel good, especially since it’s one of my main communication devices, and was how I maintain my iPad and my phone.

No data loss though. At least not much. I backed it up a couple weeks ago. I had a premonition something would happen.
