I went to my dermatologist today. I showed her my legs, not having looked at them since I put olive oil on them a couple weeks ago. I expected to show her my scaly dry legs as usual, they are almost entirely grey or white most of the time. Instead they were dry but only barely. This means the olive oil works better than the ammonium lactate I was prescribed.

So I just got a full bath today (finally had the energy to be washed all together rather than in pieces) and we used olive oil after instead of my prescription lotions. Smells better too, and the effects seem to last longer.
