For some reason…

I have a lot of deep muscle aches today.  Like the kind you get after a shot. It’s hard to crochet.  But it’s not caused by crocheting, it’s just hard to do anything.  Legs, arms, etc.  Not all at once, just one after the other.  Please don’t send me medical advice about this.  Sometimes that’s okay, but other times it seriously puts me off talking about this stuff in public.

It’s cold, and Fey has been snuggling up to me all night and all day.  Right now she’s lying over one arm with her nose touching the other, snuggled right up to my stomach plushie.

I tried crocheting but I couldn’t really get into it.  Can’t really get into much of anything.  Tried studying for my new Coursera course, which may be my hardest one yet.  I got started but had to stop.  I’m still waiting for the course material to stop being review and suddenly fly so far over my head that I can’t imagine it.

They recommended a particular textbook (fortunately optional)… it’s not available free anywhere, even on those free textbook sites.  The lowest price I could find was a $40 rental cost, still expensive.  On Kindle, it’s over $100.  WTF.  Maybe I’ll try to find a free textbook that covers similar material and try that.  

Meanwhile, achy and tired.
