as small as a world and as large as alone

There’s something about turning yarn into fabric with just one small wooden hook, that feels like magic.  There are so many places magic exists in the world, and being able to take one thing and turn it into something else is one of them.

Whoever invented things like knitting and crochet and other textile arts was a genius.  This is an amazing thing to have just ‘figured out’ one day.  These are very simple things to do, but someone had to have invented them first, and that’s not simple at all.
