you choose to be associated with rape apologists, misogynists, racists, ableists, and homophobic dickhats

Yup. My girl Guides are constantly talking about bronies and have this idea that bronies are people who protect them(which is actually utterly horrifying tbh) because they’re too young to understand that not every male identified person who loves My Little Pony isn’t going to be rainbows and sunshine with them; a lot of their small male siblings also call themselves bronies and again don’t know about how actually fucked up the brony subculture is because they think brony just means “boy people who like MLP”.

Adult bronies who make a subculture of rape and misogyny really need to fall off the planet though, if only for those little kids I mentioned above.

I thought brony really did mean “boy people who like MLP”, and then later extended to people of other genders as well.  I didn’t know it had to mean anything about a person’s values other than liking My Little Pony.
