clatterbane: youneedacat: Holy crap I could’ve just looked at my online chart for the fact of the adrenal insufficiency diagnosis, I didn’t know it was official.  I guess now the big thing is just figuring out why this is happening, and how far up the chain things are going wrong — ACTH (pituitary), or CRH (hypothalamus).  And most especially, how to treat it. But having a diagnosis is a relief more than anything.  We don’t really know whether the severe weakness I’ve had is related, but if it is, I really, really want to get started on treatment as soon as we figure out what’s wrong. It’s also pretty cool that you have access to that. It seems like everybody should, but… Yeah you have to sign up and then they send you a password in the mail, but after that it’s pretty easy.  You can look up test results that way too.
