This was my real test of whether I could follow a complex crochet pattern.  Apparently I can!  I got it for about $5 on revelry.com.  It’s an owl that opens up to hold a jar.  I used worsted weight yarn instead of DK weight, so I got a pretty large cookie jar type jar size.  Color scheme is entirely my own.
