I think I’m learning about stress-dosing, the hard way.
I thought I’d be mostly stress-dosing over physical illnesses.
But this week, my mother spent two days in the ICU with an apparent myasthenia crisis, and coded once, and they still don’t seem to quite know what was wrong. And before that, my “second mother”, one of my closest friends in the world, had a stroke and has been in the emergency room three times.
I was starting to handle the stroke okay when I got the news of my mother and my body functions sort of fell out from under me.
So I just gave myself more dexamethasone and hopefully the physical end of this will get better.
But I’m worried about both of them.
