With regards to wearing what I crochet, I’m taking advice from Ilona Smithkin, however little I otherwise dress like her.  She says that a color will work if you have two separate items in that color that you’re wearing.  So when I wear this afghan as a shawl, I’ve made a headband to go with it.  And it works, it really works.

Also, here is the copper ring I got for use as a shawl pin.  ^_^  Now I have the bamboo ring and the copper ring, and can put any sticks into the ring that seem to fit at the time.
