People who say these people aren’t Jewish are the ones who are lucky enough to be accepted by the mainstream movements; it is not based on logic or even the Torah but rather an active attempt by the discriminator to justify their prejudice. When someone uses halakha to delegitimize a Jew’s experiences, it is because they were looking for something in halakha to validate their own prejudice; it did not originate there.

And we have to look out for each other, because these people present themselves as non-judgmental. Kind. Open-minded. Logical. More knowledgable.
