While the country prides itself on its increasing acceptance of traditionally marginalized populations, disabled people continue to be stripped of their voices, and it’s hurting everyone.

Ok, this is a fantastic article on cultural constructions of disability and how even people who know and understand  the social model can screw up in how the treat people with other disabilities.
