it’s honestly really scary that people can go through 20+ years of witnessing racism, misogyny, transphobia, ableism and homophobia and not care in the slightest but then sign up to tumblr, see a couple angry posts written by teenagers being affected by the above and within a few weeks decide to dedicate hours upon fucking hours of their time to running a blog and harass said teenagers because they’re so damn moved by the “injustice” 

Most likely, they were already bullies before Tumblr, and they’re not used to being questioned. So now that they finally see people questioning things they used to take for granted- their “right” to treat people with less power than them however they want- it ENRAGES them.
