lichgem: youneedacat: So I’ve got one of each color of granny square done, so I can really see what they’re going to look like together in the afghan.  And it’s much better than I even expected.  I’m really going to enjoy this.  And even more, I’m going to enjoy making more things from color combinations that I wouldn’t have immediately thought of before.  Now that I’m getting the hang of putting colors together for what they look like together, not just for what colors I personally like (that happen to also go well together, hopefully). Ooh. Those colors really are lovely and harmonious. Yeah and I’m really falling in love with this yarn.  It’s cheap acrylic yarn, with all that entails (including lots of splitting), but it’s got this neat sheen to it that’s almost pearly or something, and that makes it worth it.
