SO MANY PEOPLE TO SHOW THIS TO IT ACTUALLY HURTS ME

Two-faced is not when you’re polite to someone you dislike.  It’s when you pretend to like someone you dislike.  AKA, if someone I think is scum drops a pile of stuff in front of me and I help them pick it up and am nice to them and hold the door?  That’s me being an adult.  If I tell them I love them and they’re the best person and I want to meet for coffee some time?  That’s being a two faced liar.  

I’d like to mention for anyone who’s been in an abusive relationship of any kind- whether with a partner or a friend or a family member…

Pretending to love someone you don’t because you’re afraid of what they’ll do to you if you stop isn’t being two-faced.

Pretending to be okay with something you’re not because you don’t want to get shouted at isn’t you being two-faced.

Being angry at someone and hiding it isn’t you being two-faced.

If someone makes you feel like something BAD will happen if you don’t do what they want you to do, that is not your fault.
