There are people who thrive in an environment steeped in critical theory and its attendant buzzwords and ideologies. Who somehow manage to keep track of an ever-changing list of the good words that you have to say, and the bad words that you should never say. And a similar list of ideas that…

I can’t do the thing. But I can avoid running into the thing, most of the time. I can see patterns and shapes that tell me where the beserk buttons are.

Which is actually kind of a problem. Because often I don’t do it on purpose, it’s a form of prompting. I just… step around the beserk buttons. But sometimes you have to do things that press beserk buttons. So been trying to learn how to tell when that’s ok.

And that runs the risk of ending up really, really bitey. I don’t want to do that either. 

It is confusing.
