When I use the internet regularly, I notice that I lose a lot of cognitive spoons. My attention span shrinks down to almost nothing. I have a hard time reading even short paragraphs. I lose the emotional capacity to relate to friends, I’m less able to speak to people.
And I don’t know what it is? Is it the sheer amount of content I deal with? The fact that there’s like a billion things on my dashboard every day?
The same thing happens to me.
Also I have trouble reading my own long posts.
