agender-willgraham:

putting this in the tag because I figure I’m not the only one with this problem but, learning disabled/mentally I’ll friends, how do you keep from feeling bad about your school abilities and from feeling unintelligent all the time?

When I started having more trouble in school, I basically had to learn that the ability to do well in school is just one set of abilities.  It’s not the most important set of abilities you’ll ever have in your life.  And no specific set of abilities defines who you are or what’s important about you.  I’ll probably never get the college degree I once expected to get, hell I never properly graduated from high school, but those things became much less important in my life over time, than they once were.  (There was a time when I actually became suicidal over school issues.)
