we really really need a good term for ableism against autistic ughhh
anti autistic ableism just doesn’t sound right idk
ideas?
I usually do it like if there’s a phrase ______ disability then it becomes ______ ableism.
So cognitive disability, cognitive ableism, physical disability, physical ableism, developmental disability, developmental ableism, psychiatric disability, psychiatric ableism. I guess autistic disability, autistic ableism? That’s the closest I can come. Otherwise I lump it under whichever other category of ableism comes closest.
