also like in general truscum are really awful to nonbinary people. truscum wind up supporting and actively enforcing the shitty system that cis people have put in place— that you are required to have dysphoria in order to be trans, that you are required to in some way hate the body you have in order to be trans.
they also wind up enforcing the idea that you have to be one gender or the other, when in reality gender is a fluid spectrum. i don’t want to conflate gender and sexuality with each other, because they are different, but they both hold a certain degree of fluidity, and people move along it, and that’s okay.
dysphoria is something that some trans people do have, and i am not discrediting it as a thing, but the important thing is that not all trans people are dysphoric.
