Hm… when I think of “bodies,” I think of… vulnerable things we have to take care of, protect, nourish. And how in some ways hearing ‘they are attacking our bodies’ feels more personal and violent than ‘hearing they are attacking us.’
Interesting.
I’ve never heard it put like that before. It’s not how I understand it, but I can understand how someone could see it that way.
