There does seem to be a true believer vibe to it? Like this is The thing that works for ~real autistics~?
Yes there is a true believer vibe to it. It’s built that up over time, it’s almost a little cult-like, at least cult of personality.
I do think it would have worked on me, and that it would still work on me. I’m exactly the right sort of autistic person to teach in that way. I’m not saying I’d have liked it. But it would’ve worked.
