[demand to reblog redacted by youneedacat because I don’t do that kind of pressure, but I do want to reblog this] because it’s that important. personality disorders are not an excuse for abusive behavior. if someone with a personality disorder does something that feels abusive and you ask them to stop and they don’t then they are a person with a personality disorder who is also abusive.

there are no excuses and no get-outs and there is no wiggle room in this, okay. personality disorders do not make you incapable of correcting cruel behavior or listening to your friends or not being abusive and if someone argues otherwise you shut them down and you send them my way, okay? i am so tired of people with my illness using my illness to excuse the fact that they are abusive
