By the way, I coined the term ‘functioning labels’.
Just in case anyone wondered, which they probably didn’t wonder. I coined it originally as a way of tagging posts on my other blog, I think, and then started using it to describe functioning levels, and then like lots of terms in the autistic community it picked up and took off at some point. Just in case anyone ever wonders where the term came from, I made it up.
I’ve also written a lot of things on the topic over the years.
