the intent isn’t magic and cookies thing
that’s really about people who…
aren’t really meaning well.
who want to feel brave and important and have marginalized people serve them and help them feel brave and important
without the risks or the spiritual growth or the sacrifices involved in actually doing the work
but that’s not how those concepts get used
Yep, yep exactly.
They have actual uses, but they’re misused at least as often as they’re used accurately.

katisconfused said: I also am not fan of the idea people supporting stuff because of how it effects them instead of other people is hurtful instead of helpful even if you are fighting for the same thing, which is something I see along with intent is magic.
