slepaulica asked: My elderly littermate cats are sleeping in exactly the same position, same orientation, lying on the same side, exactly the same, except one is sleeping on the bed and the other is sleeping some distance away on the chair. They are curled in a circle with all four paws and tail together, one forepaw draped over the other paws and tail holding it all together, and their head upside down. fast asleep both of them. apart, yet connected. connected, yet apart. They love each other so much.

I love elderly cats.  And I love littermates.  So elderly littermates are wonderful.  Littermates who have had all that time to grow old together and become part of each other, and the love between them, that’s just wonderful. <3
