Yes and I had to have jaw surgery to rectify it.

I am still dealing with some pretty serious health problems, thanks to all of the above. And I am unable to try to get medical help right now, because I have no reasonable expectation of better treatment and I am just too low on spoons to be able to stand up to more of the same.

Too many stories, too many years.  Six years of undiagnosed adrenal insufficiency and being treated as faking or exaggerating every time I nearly died, counts.  So does getting pneumonia over and over and over and needing a feeding tube and being told to go home and die rather than get the proper treatment for the gastroparesis that was causing the pneumonia. And that’s just the two that spring to mind most readily.

Every diagnosis, I’ve had to fight for.  Every diagnosis has ended up there in black and white on paper in ways that can’t be denied.  Still, I get more shit from doctors for reasons that make no sense, other than that they’re ableist and sizeist and sexist and cissexist and other things that probably contribute.
