Okay this is ridiculous.

But the main tag I’m now using for posts about ex-giftedness is definitely #exgifted, because #ex-gifted just keeps giving me errors, and so does #ex gifted.  It’s really bizarre, tumblr does not normally do this to me.

I’ve also added it to my list of personal tags, but that doesn’t mean other people aren’t welcome to use it.  (In fact, I’d love if other exgifted people used it because that would mean people were actually talking about an experience that I’ve always felt very isolated by, until I started coming across more and more exgifted people.  We don’t all have the same experience by any means, but all of us have the experience of having once been considered gifted, and having that taken away, and it affects us all differently, but there are commonalities.  It’s an experience that’s both different from never having been considered gifted, and different from being considered gifted for your entire life and never losing that.)
