Oh, so when you say “autism therapy”, you mean teaching your kid to write blog posts? I don’t have any objection to that, then. Carry on.

I’ve heard that exact line more than I can count.

It makes me furious.

You’d consider them cured, even though I need so many services in a day that I’m constantly having to fight to stay out of institutions, because people consider the services to keep me in the community too expensive or difficult?

It really, really pisses me off.
