that someone is like “this thing is mean”

and another person is immediately like “yeah, AND…?”

“sure it’s MEAN but is it OPPRESSIVE because if not i’m gonna go ahead and do it anyway”

and i just worry. that people’s response to “that’s mean” is “yeah, and?”

mean is not enough to make it bad apparently
