courtneys-world-of asked: You appear quite feminine other than the growth of facial hair. What causes this? I'm just curious; there is no judgement.

I look ‘feminine’ when I wear certain clothes that other people call feminine, I guess.  I don’t associate those clothes or hairstyles with femininity, but other people do.  (I also sometimes look equally ‘masculine’ or ‘neither’, just depending on what I wear.  I don’t associate gender with my clothes, so I’m always surprised how others do.)

As for the facial hair, I wrote a post about it awhile back that’s still relevance to this.  I have no idea why it grows that way, it just grows that way.  And I’m highliy attached to it, in fact I wish I had more of it than I do.  And this is another post with a picture of it.

Anyway, whether I look ‘feminine’ to people varies a lot based on what I wear, but the facial hair remains constant.  Doctors have looked into why my facial hair exists, but never found much.  I do have an endocrinological disease (severe secondary adrenal insufficiency) but as far as I know that doesn’t cause this.  I’ve had chin hair since I was about 17.
