Basically what’s happening is a resurgence of antisemitism and anti-Romani racism in Europe. It was also pretty bad, and its still a bit worse in Africa and the Middle East.

It all started in Greece, after their economy crashed. The Neo-Nazi Golden Dawn Party ran on the slogan “So we can rid the land of filth” and right now I think they control the majority of the Greek Parliament.

Then in France there have been a lot more antisemitic hate crimes, mostly against children women with small children, the fucking cowards. There are videos of rallies with thousands of people screaming “JEWS GO HOME! JEWS GO HOME!” in unison.

Then you have the UKIP in Britain, their top officials have made very racist and antisemitic speeches as well as homophobic, transphobic, and general xenophobia.

The Russian Duma has a little over 50 seats occupied by neo-Nazis

There also nationalist parties rising in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.

In Germany the nationalist party is running on the slogan “Money for grandma, not for Jews and Roma!” and “the boat is full”.

Basically, a collective rise in nationalism and Fascism. This isn’t like WW2 where it can be contained, it’s too wide spread, and will soon become too powerful to stop.

But maybe I’m just paranoid.

Just as a side note, Golden Dawn (the fascist type party in Greece) only has 13 seats in the Hellenic parliament (Greek parliament) out of 300 seats total I think? So it’s not a majority but it’s still bad.

Reblogging because this information is important for people to know; it’s not a few isolated incidents, it’s the extreme shifting of power of an entire group of countries toward very bigoted (xenophobic, antisemetic, homophobic, transphobic, etc) political groups.

You would be correct. The party in Ukraine, so you can monitor their activities, is Svoboda. Also look out for Hungary’s Jobbik.
