Yesterday I came up with an analogy about why the “don’t tag your hate” “rule” on Tumblr bugs. It’s like someone saying to the Library of Congress that such-and-such biography of Lincoln isn’t hagiographic enough, so could they please not classify it as a Lincoln book?
It’s completely ridiculous.
At least most of the rest of the world adheres to more rational cataloging systems.
