why do people equate 1940s jews to “white people” and the insistence that the holocaust is famous only because “white” people were the victims ignores the fact that roma people were also the mass victims to this genocide.

but really how thick skulled are you people. the holocaust isn’t famous because ashkenazi jews are white. it’s famous because it serves america’s good image, because americans can pretend they entered the war to punish the nazis and free the genocide survivors. why else do americans and canadians conviniently ignore the fact that they sent boatloads of jewish refugees back to europe for slaughter.
