can we talk about how non-violent communication is used as a weapon more often than not?

It is.  And I hate it.  And I hate the way every time I talk about it, some asshole uses NVC to tell me what a horrible person I am, and what a wonderful person they are for using NVC.

NVC is like a cheat code. Like if you use certain words you can treat people however you want and you can’t possibly be being an asshole.
