Every time I think of the black market, I actually imagine a market, with little stalls selling illegal things like nuclear weapons and organs.

HEEEEE. Weirdly enough, I was just thinking about this TODAY and wondering if anyone else had the same mental image I did. I always used to imagine a thing like…a farmer’s market, only all the stalls would have black curtains over them and they’d sell all kinds of weird illegal crap, like stolen military radio parts.

You’ve read Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, right?

Yes! I love that book. So many excellent images of “just what it sounds like it would be”. But I had that image in my head as a kid long before I read Neverwhere. :)

I always had a similar image as well.
