I can’t afford standard bangle bracelets, so I’ve been building my own based on the five elements – in order from the bottom to top, water, fire, air, earth, and aether/spirit/love/etc.  Not arranged that way for any particular order, it’s just the order I put them on.  I’m using European charms with things that remind me of the elements (as well as one charm that simply represents each element) and European charm beads, and I rather like how it’s turned out.
Unfortunately since my skin seems really good at corroding metal, including the cheap metal that holds these bracelets together, and have already wrecked one of the bracelets, I’m going to have to slowly replace these with silver-plated or something, but that’s going to take time and money.  Right now I’ve got all these marks all over my skin where the metal comes off, and the metal looks really disgusting after awhile of contact with my skin.  My friend who is a jeweler hates making things for me because I literally corrode right through chains and stuff.
The bracelet on the very bottom is my adrenal insufficiency bracelet, not intended to be one of the elements.
