I had a really awful pain day today.

I keep waiting for it to come back, like it’s just around the corner.

It was neck pain, for whatever reason (I think it’s what my medical records call ‘cervical spondylarthropathy’, whatever the hell that is), and it was pretty damn near unbearable.

I hope the nerve block kicks in soon, usually it really helps with the neck pain.

Of course I’m upright and moving around more.  And that makes a difference in all pain levels, certainly.  But this definitely had me unable to do anything but lie there with an ice pack until it was over, I couldn’t even concentrate.
